The Longman Academic Reading Series is a five-level series that prepares English language learners for academic work. This is a book about how graded (leveled) readers written for American children and adolescents can be adapted to the needs of English-as-a-Foreign-Language (EFL) learners wishing to improve their pronunciation skills through reading.
