The Exorcist / William Peter Blatty. - Londyn : Corgi Books, 1974. - 320 stron ; 18 cm.
Originally published in 1971, The Exorcist is now a major television series on FOX. It remains one of the most controversial novels ever written and went on to become a literary phenomenon: It spent fifty-seven weeks on the New York Times bestseller list, seventeen consecutively at number one. Inspired by a true story of a child’s demonic possession in the 1940s, William Peter Blatty created an iconic novel that focuses on Regan, the eleven-year-old daughter of a movie actress residing in Washington, D.C. A small group of overwhelmed yet determined individuals must rescue Regan from her unspeakable fate, and the drama that ensues is gripping and unfailingly terrifying.

Something Happened / Joseph Heller. - Nowy Jork : Corgi Books, 1976. - 559 stron ; 18 cm.
This book is absolutely amazing! It tells the story of Bob Slocum who has lived the life that most people hope for, yet daily contemplates ending it.Granted, after a gripping beginning it becomes a bit taxing in the section about his son, and it is absolutely elbow chewingly depressing, as it challenges and shows disgust for everything that is taken for granted in suburban life, however it is incredibly moving, wise, provocative and sometimes even funny.

Lolita / Vladimir Vladimirovič Nabokov. - Wyd. 13. - Londyn : Corgi Books, 1971. - 347 s. ; 18 cm.
Despite its lascivious reputation, the pleasures of "Lolita" are as much intellectual as erogenous. It is a love story with the power to raise both chuckles and eyebrows. Humbert Humbert is a European intellectual adrift in America, haunted by memories of a lost adolescent love. When he meets his ideal nymphet in the shape of 12-year-old Dolores Haze, he constructs an elaborate plot to seduce her, but first he must get rid of her mother. In spite of his diabolical wit, reality proves to be more slippery than Humbert's feverish fantasies, and Lolita refuses to conform to his image of the perfect lover.
