Written by Peter Benchley in 1977 it was always going to be a tough act to follow on from the massive hit that was 'Jaws' penned in 1974. The novel is set in Bermuda and has all the hallmarks of a cracking adventure story,ship wrecks,buried treasure and long forgotten about drugs,cruising sharks and a huge moray eel and the tale that unfolds conjures up vivid images of the island and it's beautiful storm tossed surroundings. It's a dark story for the most part but really entertaining and for that it's the reason it remains my favourite Benchley book by far.
