"Britain Now" (Book 2) is part of "Cassette FM" - a new range of self-study audio materials for listening comprehension. Written for intermediate to advanced learners of English, it is the first in the series of books and audiocassettes offering a basic introduction to British life and institutions. It focuses on the press, family, politics and local government. The audiocassette is based on authentic interviews with representatives of each of the four institutions, including journalists, parents, politicians and welfare workers.
